The evaluation of the competition proposals will occur through two rounds of jury review. The first part of the competition's evaluation by the first jury is based on standard criteria: ARCHIVE is looking for proposals that respond to all elements of program. The first judging panel will look favorably on proposals that include multidisciplinary and cross cultural teamwork.
The second jury panel will look to ascertain if a project has a strong conceptual focus. Successful projects will think outside the box, be theoretical and evolve from current knowledge. They should not only absorb the information provided in the Appendices but rather push forward a strong comprehensive idea that is singly notable in the design presented. Value, philosophy, integrity and emotive response are incredibly relevant in a well communicated conceptual proposal.
